At 3pm, we'll be in the front yard boiling down maple syrup (tapped from our 100 year old maple trees!) over an open fire. At 3:30pm, we will hold the First-Ever Beulahland Pioneer Sports Contest - BB gun sharpshooting events - Archery - Wood chopping events - Log toss - Butter churning - Horseshoes - (we'll probably add more events, which will be announced) Winners will be awarded special Beulahland Medallions of Honor & will be listed on the Wall of Fame. Around 5pm, we'll start up the potluck dinner, including flap jacks to go along with the maple syrup and freshly churned butter. And since it will be the first day of Daylight Savings, we can all rejoice together that the sunsets at 7pm!! |
